Utah offers licensure by endorsement. Out-of-state applicants with active CDR registration may apply by completing the standard application and submitting a copy of their active CDR card, which proves they meet the national standards required by Utah.

Utah requires a criminal background check for all applicants. Completing prints outside Utah can add 2-4 weeks to your processing time.
