How to Apply

  1. Obtain CDR Registration ▾
    Complete an ACEND-accredited dietetic program and supervised practice (internship), then pass the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) exam.

    Create an account on the MyLicense One portal and submit the initial application for a Certified Dietitian license.

Requirements ▾
Indiana does not have a formal endorsement or reciprocity pathway. Out-of-state dietitians apply through the standard application process. Holding current CDR registration satisfies the education and examination requirements. You must still submit the application, $20 fee, transcripts, and complete the Indiana fingerprint background check.
