How to Apply

   Successfully complete a course of study approved by the Colorado Dental Board or pass a board-approved examination for each specific expanded duty you intend to perform. These courses are offered by educational institutions or testing bodies, not directly by the board.
4. Maintain Documentation of Qualifications ▾
   Keep thorough records of all completed board-approved training, certifications, and examinations. Your supervising dentist is responsible for ensuring you meet all requirements for delegated duties, and this documentation may be requested during an audit.
5. Work Under Direct Supervision ▾
   Ensure you always perform duties under the direct supervision of a licensed Colorado dentist, as required by state law. The dentist is ultimately responsible for your delegated functions.
